BIO

Leo Porteris a Professor of Computer Science at UC San Diego interested in computer science education research and computer architecture. He co-founded the Computing Education Research Laboratory dedicated to better understanding how students learn computing and creating instructional environments where students can succeed. He also co-founded and co-direct the GenAI in CS Education Consortium whose mission is to help educators integrate GenAI into the computer science curriculum.

This lecture will be recorded and streamed live on the Allen School's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@uwcse), unless otherwise noted. The link will be available on that page one hour prior to the event.
